I was lucky to have the privilege of Dave doing my decorating. From the first moment of contact, he was polite, friendly, considerate. His quote was detailed and sent within a few days. He listened to what I wanted and came up with ideas to save on paint costs, but still gave me the quality I needed. He broke down the costs for transparency – something other decorators hadn’t done. He not only responded to messages, but actively initiated contact to drive the project forward. He was flexible and worked with me to find the best time slots for the work around my other renovations and personal commitments. He worked relentlessly all day stripping some very stubborn wallpaper, with a smile. He moved big furniture on his own. He was self-sufficient in his work…despite numerous offers of coffee. His work was impeccable. He helped me find the right grey for my bedroom when I was bedazzled by fifty shades of grey – some of which were under the guise of blue! Most of all, he understood I was busy in my work and made my life easy, even finding me an excellent plasterer at short notice; and running around Leeds for paint samples. He understands that the upheaval of renovations can be stressful and was reassuring, helpful and empathetic. But more than this, he goes the extra mile – his people skills are beyond brilliant. He gave me so much advice and I totally trust everything he says. Cannot recommend him enough – beyond value for money. Not only is he a consummate professional, he is fun. I look forward to inviting him back to do my downstairs rooms (I hope!) A Yorkshire gem and gentleman! Pics to follow, once I get my furniture in.

I cannot praise Dave highly enough. He did some repainting of our downstairs bathroom and he did a great job. Honest, reliable and good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be using again in the future.

I have used Dave a few times doing all the painting in my house and my daughter's house and I am very pleased with the results. Dave works hard and takes care and pride in his work. He is a friendly guy, completed the work to a high level and with a minimum of fuss, always leaving a tidy house. I would highly recommend him, and I would definitely use him again in future. We hired Dave to paint our kitchen, living room and hall/stairs/landing. He did a very professional job and was very flexible and accommodating. We have young children so the house was quite chaotic but Dave just cracked on with no fuss and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

Dave painted our living room and kitchen/dining room and also painted several rooms and the hallway in my mother in law's house. We have been really pleased with all the work he has done, which was completed to a very high standard. Dave ensured that all prep work was identified and completed before starting the painting and he did all the jobs quickly and without any issues, leaving a tidy house afterwards. Dave is very professional and reliable, he provided us with very reasonable quotes and provided timescales for the works, which he kept to. He has always been easy to communicate with and is happy to give advice regarding the jobs if needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and we will certainly be using him in the future.

Dave's work and attitude is fantastic. Not only is his work top quality, he makes sure that as his client we have considered all options, and he is certainly not in the market of making any job bigger than it needs to be. He is honest about his availability and has never let us down. Top guy all round really and I would not look any where else for decorating.

We hired David to paint our whole house after major renovation work. He was very professional and reliable and gave good advice through the whole process. He was flexible and worked around other tradesmen who did not complete their work on time and still managed to complete his work in the agreed time-frame. He was very open and upfront on the costs of the job so there were never any issues with cost of the job. We would definitely recommend him and will get him to do any future decorating jobs that come up.

Very happy with Dave. Really nice guy, does a great job at a very fair price. Was very patient with us when we needed to re-arrange some dates, and gave honest and valuable advice regarding the job.
